Implementing KORUS will make U.S. products more competitive in the Korean market. For example, tariffs for over 95 percent of U.S. exports of consumer & industrial products would be eliminated within 5 years. Tariffs would be eliminated for nearly two-thirds of U.S. agricultural exports immediately.
